Feb. 25 3 - 5 PM	Feb. 25 (Bread Making Cooking Class and Wine Tasting $20.00/person Call Frannie 518.238.2232 and make your reservation) at Harmony House Marketplace, 184-190 Remsen St. Francesca’s and the NYS Wine Seller, will be joining forces to offer two different cooking classes in February. Hours for both are 3 to 5 p.m. The first will concentrate on creating an artistic meal for Valentine’s Day, including a heart shaped pizza, holiday themed desserts and wine samplings. Participants will take home to recreate the meal in their own kitchen. The second class, led by Master Baker Nick DiGregorio, will teach participants how to make his famous Italian bread from scratch along with other trade secrets.  A wine sampling will take place during the workshop featuring some of the best wines from the state. Tues. Apr. 17 All Day Event	The International Center of the Capital Region will be sponsoring a one-day outing to NYC emphasizing Irish heritage. In the morning, participants will have the opportunity to meet the Deputy Consul General of Ireland at the Irish Consulate, followed by a visit to the Irish Hunger Memorial (a garden monument to the Irish Famine – a beautiful example of outdoor NYC art). In the afternoon, the group will be taking the ferry to tour the Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island . The bus will be leaving from Albany at 7:00 am and returning at approximately 9:00 PM . The cost for the outing is $84 for ICCR members and $89 for not-yet-members, and includes transportation, snacks on the bus, and ferry fees. Space is limited.
